Alba Maxima

Long before red roses, white roses were recognised as the symbol of true love or pure friendship, innocence and purity. They were associated with the Goddess of Love and Beauty in roman times. The myth says that all roses were white until Aphrodite pricked herself with the thorns and turned them red.

The fragrance of our Alba Maxima is fresh and sweet. If you prefer a gentler fragrance and flavour then Welsh Rosewater Alba Maxima is for you.
